What is this webinar about?

The CBSA Assessment and Revenue Management (CARM) project is a multi-year business transformation initiative. Once implemented, it will facilitate trade compliance and modernize revenue management by automating manual processes required to assess, collect, manage, and report on trade information.

The first phase of CARM is the Accounts Receivable Ledger (ARL), which simplifies the assessment and collection of revenue by managing and reconciling all the transactions of an importer or broker under a single account.

CARM and ARL will bring many changes to how importers make payments to the CBSA and receive their reimbursements, along with how importers receive their monthly account statements. Learn about the upcoming changes and estimated timelines from the CBSA in our free webinar.

This webinar covers topics surrounding the CARM initiative such as:
  • The replacement of the K84 process with enhanced electronic Daily Notices (DNs) and monthly Statements of Account (SOAs)
  • Estimated timelines of implementation from the CBSA
  • ePayment and internet banking options for commercial clients
  • Potential changes for Non-resident Importers (NRIs) making payments under the Importer Direct Security Option
